Learning Community
A learners learning community includes:
their workplace trainer – most likely their supervisor, who takes the lead role in providing on-the-job instruction and guidance during their day-to-day work
their employer – who makes the commitment to investment in their development and provide them with the opportunity to learn and practise new skills in the workplace
specialist trainers at the Academy who provide additional tuition and support during the residential workshops, master classes and other training programs
Choices Flooring alliance partners – the product manufacturers and distributors who provide in-depth training and technical advice at the workshops and master classes
CTI staff – including national training mentors, regional training managers and administration staff, who monitor their progress and provide
mentoring support
National Apprenticeship Training Council members who guide the direction of the Academy.
Family – for apprentices whose immediate family members form part of their support circle, provide moral support and help with practical arrangements
