An apprenticeship requires that you have a Commonwealth Government Training contract/agreement with a registered employer (Choices Flooring). Prior to enrolment or commencement of training, you will be required to complete a literacy and numeracy assessment and to complete a pre-training interview. These will assist with determining your suitability for the course, verify your training plan, and identify any learning support needs.
Recognition of prior learning
You may be able to shorten the length of your chosen course by measuring skills acquired through work, life experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. AQF qualifications and statements of attainment issued by another registered training organisation will be recognised by CTI. (Please refer to your Learner handbook for more information).
How To Apply
A Commonwealth Government training contract must be completed by the employer and apprentice within the first two weeks of employment. Apprenticeship Network Providers have been appointed across the country to support you in this process and as an apprentice. An Australian Apprenticeship Support Network representative will visit the workplace to complete the training contract with the employer and the apprentice (Visit Australian apprenticeships.gov.au for more information).
If you have further questions about your application, please contact CTI on 1800 813 538 or CTI@ctitraining.com.au
